Tim Donovan · His Legacy

His Legacy — End Alzheimer’s

Tim lived his last 7 years diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Two of his brothers have also been diagnosed with the disease. For a man whose life was built on relationships, on showing up, on listening, on being there, the weight of that loss on his family and those who loved him is immeasurable.

“More than anything, he valued relationships, those with family and friends who were family.”

The Fight to End It

The Alzheimer’s Association is the world’s leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. Their mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s and all other forms of dementia through the advancement of research, to provide and enhance care and support for all affected, and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

The research being done today gives real reason for hope. New treatments are being developed and approved. The understanding of how the disease progresses, and how to slow it, is advancing faster than at any point in history. Every dollar raised, every walk participated in, every conversation started moves that work forward.

Honor Tim. End Alzheimer’s.

In lieu of flowers, Tim’s family asks that you consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association in his memory. It is the most meaningful tribute he could receive, a contribution to the effort he would have wanted to see succeed, for his brothers, for his family, and for the countless others still walking this road.

Every contribution matters. Every gift is a step forward on a path that Tim and his family have been clearing together.
